'TRENCHING' IT

The uber chic trenchcoat might have been worn by military patrons back during the time of World War 1 and 2 but this trend has been refashioned to satisfy every fashionistas needs. Having been through various reforms after its inception today the trenchcoat is a fashion staple for any winter wardrobe. So while the climate gears up for a chilly change STITCH suggests you go into those malls and walk out with an oh-so-fabulous addition. Classic colours used for the trench include midnight blacks, creamy beige and muddy browns. But designers are now experimenting with various prints and colours to match the ever changing fashion cycle.

A trenchcoat helps emphasize a woman's waist whilst providing an extremely chic and elegant feel to the rest of the body. It helps sculpt a shape which is desirable and stylish.



Michael Kors - Fall 2010 trench

If you are someone who prefers going in for a classic and more sophisticated look go in for a vintage style trench such as Michael Kors and Hermes which are modern in design yet vintage in feel and look. The colours used are the common ones attributed to a trench.

If you are more of a wild fashion diva who doesn't believe in understated fashion go in for animal stripes or bold colours to suit your winter palette.
